A top floor flat was recently the subject of extreme weather conditions and flooded to the point where extensive refurbishment was required. The insurance company were reluctant to admit responsibility and offered a nominal sum. After out appointment we quadrupled the payout from the insurance company and monitored the refurbishment works to the satisfaction of the client.
Case study 2
A householder suffered a plumbing leak which effectively ruined the kitchen. The insurance company offered £2600 in settlement. Following our appointment, we undertook our own survey and prepared building specifications for the repair works. We managed to obtain £10,900 from the insurance company in final payout.
